S3sync repo moved to github

(Matt Palermo) #1

I’m not sure where to report a bug. I just tried to “brew install s3sync” and brew returns a 404.

mattpalermo@ZAT0013 ~ $ brew install s3sync ==> Using the sandbox ==> Cloning http://s3sync-s3cmd.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ ==> Checking out 4 svn: E170013: Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'http://s3sync-s3cmd.googlecode.com/svn/trunk' svn: E160013: '/svn/trunk' path not found Error: Failed to download resource "s3sync" Failure while executing: svn checkout -q http://s3sync-s3cmd.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ /Users/mattpalermo/Library/Caches/Homebrew/s3sync--svn -r 4

Their website ( http://s3sync.net/wiki.html ) says that the project has been moved away from googlecode and over to github - and in turn away from svn to into git. The new repo is this:

All that said, the git repo shows the the files have a last modified time of “5 years ago”…

Please report this to Homebrew/homebrew-core, thanks.
