Macos Mojave php-fpm restart unexpectedly

Hello,

I have just updated to Macos Mojave and PHP7.3 using nginx. All installations happened through brew (also downgraded to PHP7.2) but php-fpm restart unexpectedly when access ONLY /wp-admin route of my wordpress website. All frontend wordpress pages works fine and and info.php is working as well.

On php.ini we have added xdebug using pecl. All other settings are the default ones:

zend_extension=“xdebug.so”
[XDebug]
xdebug.remote_enable=1
xdebug.remote_autostart=1
xdebug.remote_handler=dbgp
xdebug.remote_mode=req
xdebug.remote_host=127.0.0.1
xdebug.remote_port=9000
extension=“redis.so”

php-fpm log using log_level=debug when accessing /wp-admin show “exited on signal 11” and php-fpm service restarts:

This looks like something that should be reported to wordpress or PHP is it doesn’t seem specific to homebrew.

Hello SMiller,

What i can understand this is probably an issue with php-fpm. Isn’t php packages part of the homebrew? For Mojave, brew downloads https://homebrew.bintray.com/bottles/php-7.3.6_1.mojave.bottle.tar.gz who is building that package?

Homebrew is, homebrew is not writing the source for it though.

Hello.
Same problem here on a fresh Mojave install (nginx 1.17.1, php 7.3.6 and mariadb 10.4). I get 502 Bad Gateway on every php page served by nginx (except for phpmyadmin). I get segmentation fault error from php-fpm.

Sorry for the noise. The problem is described here

We have resolved that issue:

brew remove curl-openssl --ignore-dependencies curl-openssl
brew install https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/homebrew-core/e47f3e2682fa3d8a6ee58ded40718a1326e08a6d/Formula/curl-openssl.rb

and after restart everything was back to normal.
