Is the resumption of a failed brew installation supported?

(Jingguo Yao) #1

When running /usr/bin/ruby -e “$(curl -fsSL”, the followong error occured:

==> Downloading and installing Homebrew...
fatal: unable to access '': Could not resolve host:
Failed during: git fetch origin master:refs/remotes/origin/master --tags --force --depth=1

Then I re-executed /usr/bin/ruby -e “$(curl -fsSL”, the following message showed up:

==> This script will install:

Press RETURN to continue or any other key to abort
==> Downloading and installing Homebrew...

Then the installation succeeded after some time. And “brew doctor” produced “Your system is ready to brew.”.

Are such installation steps guaranteed to successfully install brew?

If it’s installed OK now: yes, you’re all good.
