I’ve changed the source of homebrew, homebrew-core, and homebrew-bottle with the source that I can access. But it just won’t work. Please somebody help me
What did you change it to?
I guess he added an upstream remote.
I can see that, that’s why I asked “what”
Maybe he was trying to use another remotes with
git checkout instead of taps…
There’s millions of possibilities. Speculating won’t help
Sorry, I replay so late. I change it to tuna mirror from tsinghua university. The firewall sometimes would interfere the connection with GitHub.
You probably forgot to change directories somewhere. What happens if you run these 2 commands:
git -C "$(brew --repo)" remote set-url origin https://mirrors.tuna.tsinghua.edu.cn/git/homebrew/brew.git
git -C "$(brew --repo homebrew/core)" remote set-url origin https://mirrors.tuna.tsinghua.edu.cn/git/homebrew/homebrew-core.git
I’m sure I changed directories to where homebrew installed. And checked with
git remote -v but still won’t work. I’ve got my VPN and shadowsocks off and still stuck at
So how about this question?
It worked! How does even possible
Thank you so much, man. I must change it in the wrong directory.
