Copy/Paste Terminal command fails

I have copy/pasted the text from the install page in Mojave 10.14, hit enter, and nothing happened at all. A new prompt was created "> " and that was it. Has anyone else had this problem?

I’d guess you didn’t copy the full command then.

Are you using the default bash shell? Did macOS change the normal quotes into weird angled quotes “”?

Nope, they are straight up and down.

You’ll have to exit the command first. Press Ctrl + C before pasting the command again. And if that doesn’t work send a screenshot again.

@SMillerDev Is correct here. It looks like something didn’t get copied correctly as the > prompt comes up when you have an unfinished cURL statement.
